All standard SQL numeric data types are supported by MySQL. These kinds contain exact numeric data types (INTEGER, SMALLINT, DECIMAL, and NUMERIC), as well as approximate numeric data types (INTEGER, SMALLINT, DECIMAL, and NUMERIC) ( FLOAT , REAL , and DOUBLE PRECISION ).
Numbers are stored in database columns as numeric data types. Exact numeric types, values where precision and scale must be retained are examples of these data types. INTEGER, BIGINT, DECIMAL, NUMERIC, NUMBER, and MONEY are the exact numeric kinds.
MySQL includes all of the necessary SQL numeric data types. These data types can be exact numeric data types (for example, integer, decimal, numeric, etc.) or approximate numeric data types (for example, integer, decimal, numeric, etc). (For example, float, real, and double precision). It also has a BIT datatype that can be used to hold bit values.
In MySQL, there are four different TEXT data types:
MEDIUM TEXT
LONG TEXT.
